These days even 1 GB 3G internet costs more than ₹251 but an Indian Smartphone company has launched an Android Smartphone at ₹251.
Ringing Bells has launched the Freedom 251 at ₹251. This becomes the cheapest smartphone in India. The company launched India’s cheapest 4G smartphone, Smart 101 at Rs. 2,999 recently.
The launch is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for “empowering India to the last person, transforming India’s growth story”, the Noida-based company said.

The Ringing Bells Freedom 251 comes in white color. It comes with 1-year warranty and the company says that it has over 650 service centers across India. It will be available through freedom251.com starting from 6AM on February 18th till 21 February 8PM. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar launched the smartphone ‘Freedom 251’ on February 17.
The deliveries will be completed by 30 June 2016.
